Before this little studio became what it is today, it existed under another name - Herbs and Homesteading - a tender beginning born from my home, my garden, and my life as a mother and wife. It was created during a season where I was searching for beauty, stability, and something of my own while raising Ollie and building a gentle life with my husband. What started as sharing herbs, homemade things, and small moments of calm slowly grew roots far deeper than I ever expected.

Flowers found me long before I ever thought to call myself a florist. I learned by doing - quietly, intuitively, teaching myself in the early mornings and late nights while Ollie slept. Over time, that self taught passion became a true craft, strengthened by formal floristry training and shaped by the emotions, stories, and seasons that influence every arrangement I make. I’m proud of where I started, and even more proud of how far this little dream has come.

Where the Roses Grow is now the heart of my creative life - a small studio in Adelaide where I create romantic, garden inspired florals that feel tender, textural and a little bit wild. My work is deeply personal. I design bouquets the way I move through the world: gently, thoughtfully, always noticing the softness in things. Whether it’s a simple everyday bouquet or florals for a wedding or event, I want each piece to feel like a breath out - something warm, honest, and full of quiet beauty.

Although flowers are the soul of what I do, I still pour small batch candles and home fragrances from the same place this business first began: my home. The scents are soft and nostalgic, created to accompany the feeling of my florals rather than stand apart from them - little pieces of comfort to weave into the everyday.

Where the Roses Grow is more than a business to me. It’s the story of finding myself again through creativity, motherhood, and the courage to grow something from the ground up. Every order, every bouquet, every event is a continuation of that story - and a reminder of why I love what I do.
